Celebrating a National Treasure
RoeblingFest 2017

RoeblingFest 2017 commemorated the 150th anniversary of the completion of the iconic John A. Roebling Bridge. The historic suspension bridge between Covington (KY) and Cincinnati (OH) was completed in the summer of 1867.

RoeblingFest took place on Saturday, June 17th, 2017 in the Roebling Point area at the Covington end of the bridge.

One highlight of RoeblingFest 2017 was a presentation by Kriss Roebling of New York City. Kriss is a direct descendant of John Roebling, the designer and builder of the bridge that now bears his name.

Roeblingfest 2017 was the 13th Annual RoeblingFest. It is was a Celebration of Art, Architecture, History, and Engineering.

RoeblingFests are an activity of the Covington-Cincinnati Suspension Bridge Committee, a citizens group dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the John A. Roebling Bridge.
